Event Overview

M&A in the United States has finally reached pre-recession levels. Deal value in the first three quarters of 2014 reached almost $1 trillion and the over 5,000 deals announced during the period are the highest on record. The current deal environment is characterized by a large-number of mega-deals and it appears that dealmakers are willing to pay a significant amount for targets that meet their strategic and growth objectives.

KPMG LLP and the research practice unit of SourceMedia, the publisher of Mergers & Acquisitions magazine, conducted a survey of over 700 M&A professionals at U.S. corporations, private equity firms, and investment funds to gain a better understanding of the current M&A market. This webcast will highlight the findings of the survey and provide insight into the outlook for M&A in 2015.

Professionals from KPMG’s M&A Tax, Transactions & Restructuring, and Private Equity practices will share the results of the survey and provide a critical window into the views of leading M&A professionals.
