This Webcast launches the ninth edition of the KPMG Survey of Corporate Responsibility (CR) Reporting and marks 22 years since the first survey was published in 1993. This year the research is more comprehensive than ever, covering 4,500 companies across 45 countries (the previous survey in 2013 looked at 4,100 companies in 41 countries).
The survey also offers a deep-dive into the quality of carbon reporting among the world’s largest 250 companies - a topical issue given the UN Climate Talks (COP21) to be held in Paris from November 30 through December 11, 2015. The webcast will discuss what these climate talks may mean for business.
KPMG’s survey is published primarily for business leaders, company boards and corporate responsibility and sustainability professionals. The survey is also intended to provide a useful reflection of the current state of CR reporting for other audiences who take an interest in the subject including investors, asset managers and ratings agencies who increasingly factor environmental, social and governance information into their assessments of corporate performance. Corporate stakeholders, including NGOs, customers, business academics and students, and policy makers should also find useful information and food for thought.
