Overview of the FASB’s revenue recognition standard, ASU 2014-09, Revenue from Contracts with Customers (Topic 606), which will be effective soon. The Webcast will include an overview of the standard and provide some implementation considerations for NFPs.
Overview of the FASB’s new proposed standardclarifying the scope and the accounting guidance for contributions received and contributions made, which we anticipate will be released at the end of July. The proposal will provide guidance to help NFPs determine whether grants should be accounted for as contributions or exchange transactions.
