Event Overview:
What is global business services (GBS) and who is implementing it? GBS focuses on optimizing the mix of human capital, service delivery models, process innovation and technology to deliver services on an enterprise-wide, cross-functional basis to support the business strategy. GBS is complex. Organizations that have a mature service delivery framework (with at least a five-year evolution) are the most successful in operationalizing GBS. Tune in to hear established global organizations weigh in with their insights on service delivery model maturity. In addition to giving you access to executive points of view and lessons learned related to GBS business outcomes and business-oriented GBS models, this webcast will also feature key findings from KPMG's most recent Global Business Services Maturity study. These findings are part of an ongoing KPMG research initiative to track leading GBS organizations across their journey to excellence. Key questions for discussion: What defines success in leading GBS models? How are organizations effectively managing process ownership? What role does data analytics play in the GBS organization today and in the future? How has the need for governance changed as GBS models evolve? What are organizations doing to attract, develop and retain talent in this area? Panelists Moderator Rick Bertheaud, a principal in the Shared Services and Outsourcing Advisory practice at KPMG, will lead the panel discussion with the following executives: Lee Coulter, chief executive officer, Ascension Health Ministry Service Center Jeffrey Kemmerer, vice president, Global Shared Services, Hershey Joyce E. Wells, senior vice president, CSS Strategy & Reengineering, Citigroup Attendees who participate for the duration of the live one-hour webcast will be eligible to receive one CPE credit.
