Event Overview

KPMG LLP (KPMG) is pleased to invite you to a 60-minute Webcast on the IRS annual report.

It has been about a year now since the IRS released new Revenue Procedures governing the Advance Pricing Agreement (APA) and Competent Authority processes. Advance Pricing and Mutual Agreement (APMA) Acting Director, John C. Hughes and Senior Manager, Patricia Fouts will join KPMG to explain what taxpayers and their representatives can do to help their APAs and Competent Authority cases run efficiently.

The Webcast will cover:

  • How should taxpayers and their representative’s work with APMA to keep their cases on track and avoid unnecessary problems?
  • What is APMA’s experience with the new Procedures and what may change in the future?
  • What is APMA seeing with respect to new processes created by the new Procedures (e.g., self-initiated Competent Authority cases, abbreviated APA requests, and mandatory pre-filing procedures)?
  • Are any developments on the horizon for APMA with regard to case acceptance and processing?
