Last week, the House released HR1, allowing a first look at possible legislative details on tax reform. As the legislative process unfolds, the final bill will undoubtedly undergo numerous rounds of editing. It’s anyone’s guess what the final bill—if one passes both houses of Congress—that ends up on the President’s desk will look like. Still, the long-awaited HR1 is the starting point and will generate considerable activity by taxpayers as they evaluate the potential impacts and how to respond.

KPMG LLP (KPMG) is pleased to invite you to a TaxWatch Webcast on the business tax proposals in HR1 and subsequent drafts. Professionals from KPMG’s Washington National Tax (WNT) practice provide an outline of the specific proposals within the bill and considerations when evaluating their business impact.
